Wow. I’m still reeling from the amazing weekend in Washington, DC!
I spent most of my time yesterday (with the help of my good friend, Mandi) interviewing folks for my Faces For Equality project. Over the next few weeks, I will be posting 20 unique profiles of individuals who participated in the National Equality March. There are some amazing stories in here, and even among just the people I spoke to, there is amazing diversity.
While I begin developing these stories, I want to share with you the other photos I took during the march. It’s not a comprehensive gallery of the event by any means, but I want to show you some of what I saw. I have to say: to simply be a part of such an amazing mass of people was awe-inspiring. The march was so long that from where we were marching, it was impossible to see the front or end of the march, even when we could see further ahead or behind in the route. To then see the love, energy, and passion that so many had was emotionally overwhelming.
