Queer and Queerer Ep. 14 – Erotic Poems and Stripping Zacks
Zack is going to Netroots Nation, so he fulfills his promise to do the podcast naked! To help set the mood, Peterson reads some erotic poems. The conversation evolves into an exploration of queer culture over time and throughout different regions. How do we all move forward when some are living in the closet while others are eager to reject the norms of society? In what ways does sexual liberation overlap with queer rights and what can we glean from Zack Rosen’s decision to use his body to get votes? Tune in and then leave a comment to join today’s sexy discussion.

What was the name of the recording artist mentioned at the end of the podcast? I thought I’d try out their station on Pandora, but I couldn’t quite make out the name.
Best to you!
Oh, sure! His name is Levi Kreis. He actually just won a Tony award because he’s currently in Million Dollar Quartet. His address is http://www.levikreis.com/. There are four solo albums, but my favorite is still the first, One of the Ones. It’s just him at the piano, and it’s so sensual.
What’s ironic is that his music is very spiritual. Despite my flagrant atheism, I still really like it. Enjoy!
Thanks! BTW, I love the podcast. It’s almost “intro to gay culture and issues 101″ for me. :)
there was a back lash- 80% of the posts on the Advocate called him a trashy whore….the Magazine was clearly on his, but the readers were very different
I don’t know… I read through those comments a couple time and I feel like there were at least as many people defending him as there were speaking against him. Part of my frustration was actually the validation of just how many people unflinchingly were eager to go vote… for one and one reason only.
